摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the lengthwide directional strain distribution of an optical fiber in which strains mixedly exist. SOLUTION: This device has a measuring step for measuring a power spectrum of the Brillouin scattered light scattered in a measuring section in which the two strains of the optical fiber mixedly exist and only single strain existing measuring sections existing on both sides of the measuring section in which the two strains mixedly exist, a first estimating step (S1, and S2) for estimating a Lorenzian power spectrum by standardizing a peak value to 1 in the only single strain existing measuring section from the power spectrum of the only single strain existing measuring section measured in the measuring step, and a second estimating step (S3) for estimating a peak value of the Lorenzian power spectrum corresponding to two strains in two-strain mixedly existing measuring section by using the standardized Lorenzian power spectrum estimated in the first estimating step, and a power spectrum of the two-strain mixedly existing measuring section measured in the measuring step.
