PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide belt which is stably controlled in a resistance value to an intermediate value between an insulator having high insulatability and an insulator having low insulatability, has high insulation reliability and is preferable as an electrophotographic intermediate transfer belt. SOLUTION: This intermediate transfer body contains 0.5 to 20 pts.wt. carbon black and 5 go 40 pts.wt. planar or columnar conductive powder per 100 pts.wt. polyimide resin and has a volume resistance value ranging from 1×10<6> to 1×10<12>Ω.cm<2> and further a fluororesin layer which is added with a conductive material and has the surface resistance ranging from 1×10<8> to 1×10<13>Ω.cm<2> is formed on its front surface.
