PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic flow rate adjusting rotary gate used for an irrigation channel of agricultural water. SOLUTION: A large number of blades 6, 6, etc., are radially arranged on a cylindrical gate body 5 rotatably horizontally arranged in an open channel 10. This gate body 5 is rotated by water of the channel, and is constituted so as to control the passing flow rate. Since a rotating speed of this gate body 5 is controlled by a gate upstream side water level, the automatic flow rate adjusting rotary gate 2 can be provided.
