PURPOSE: An equipment for measuring length is provided to accurately and rapidly measure length of a measured object such as a dial gauge. CONSTITUTION: An equipment comprises a bed(10); a pair of linear motion guides(20) installed on an upper end of the bed to act as a guide rail; a horizontal delivery part(40) installed on the liner motion guides and floated by air supplied to an air supply part through an air regulator to horizontally move along by the linear motion guides; a laser head mount(50) installed on one end of the bed and having a laser head radiating laser beam installed thereon; a spindle(60) installed on one side of an upper part of the horizontal delivery part; an anvil(70) installed on an upper part of the other end of the bed to face the spindle and contacting with an object; a vertical delivery guide part(80) installed on the other end of the bed to perpendicularly cross the bed; and a weight(110) acting to give fixed measuring pressure on the object between the spindle and the anvil.
