PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment solution possible to offer an inkjet printing image with water resistance and wet smudge resistance. SOLUTION: The inkjet treatment solution includes an aqueous basic material and imidic styrene, anhydrous maleic acid polymer. The polymer is insoluble in a neutral aqueous medium and exists between about 2 wt. percent and 4 wt. percent density, favorably about 3 wt. percent density. The polymer gives the wet smudge resistance to inkjet ink when it is used for printing. |
