<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake/exhaust device for the engine of a construction machine capable of preventing a high temperature exhaust gas component from circumferentially releasing. SOLUTION: In this device, an intake chamber 34 for sucking an outside air through an air cleaner 42, an intake pipe 32 or the like and an exhaust chamber 33 for discharging the exhaust gas from an engine 11 outside a vehicle through a muffler 37, an exhaust pipe 31, etc., are arranged on the engine 11 adjacently to each other. The cross section area of exhaust gas flow in the exhaust chamber 33 is made larger than that of the exhaust pipe 31. Thereby, the exhaust gas is cooled in the exhaust chamber 33 and is discharged outside the vehicle, and at the same time, a part of the discharged gas is sucked in the intake chamber 34 to be mixed with the outside air.</p> |
