<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that is improved in overall operational performance by making the actuation of minimum two compressors smoother by making expanding sections to fluidly start according to the operating states of the compressors. SOLUTION: The air conditioner incorporates a compressing section 10 using at least two compressors, a condensing section 20 which converts a high- temperature high-pressure gaseous refrigerant into an intermediate-temperature high-pressure liquid refrigerant, and an expanding section 30 which converts the liquid refrigerant converted by means of the condensing section 20 into a low-temperature low-pressure liquid refrigerant by expanding the refrigerant. The air conditioner also incorporates an evaporating section 40 which converts the liquid refrigerant converted by means of the expanding section 30 into a low-temperature low-pressure gaseous refrigerant, temperature sensors which are respectively installed to the inlet of the compressing section 10 and the outlet of the evaporating section 40 for measuring temperatures, and a control section 50 which performs processing upon receiving the measured values of the sensors and controls the electronic expansion valve of the expanding section 30 based the processed results.</p> |
