<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint and an annular seal ring used for it, capable of improving a sealing characteristic and preventing generation of contact noise. SOLUTION: In this pipe joint A, the annular seal ring 1, having a partially conical tapered inner circumference seal face 10, is arranged on the inner circumferential face side of an opening end part 2a in a first exhaust pipe 52, and on the outer circumferential face side of an opening end part 3a in a second exhaust pipe 53, and a partially projecting spherical outer circumference seal seat 30 is arranged, made to face the annular sealing ring 1. The pipe joint A is provided with a forcible pressing means bringing the inner circumference seal face 10 into pressure contact with the outer circumference sealing seat 30 freely slidably over both the exhaust pipes 52 and 53. A plurality of recess grooves 11, extending in the circumferential direction around the overall circumference, are arranged on the inner circumference seal face 10.</p> |
