SOLUTION: When a vehicle 1 travels on a guiding passage 22 by this navigation system, the passage is guided so as to arrive at the destination 21. The drop-in placesα1 toα3 (for example, a noted place, a historic site, and an art museum) are retrieved in a range of adding additional required time (for example, 10 min) or a required distance (for example, 2 km) allowable by an occupant to travel time (for example, one hour) or a travel distance (for example, 50 km) required before arriving at the destination 21. A retriving result is displayed, for example, on a display image screen 17 for the navigation system. For example, a new guiding passage 25 can also be set for dropping in at the drop-in placeα3 and proceeding to the destination 21 from the drop-in placeα3. |
