PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AF lock button mechanism for camera whose operability is extremely high as compared with the conventional AF lock mechanism. SOLUTION: Range-finding is performed by a range-finding IC when an AF lock button 8 is depressed for one or more seconds, and in the case of being focused, a lens 9 is moved to a position thereof, and the position is held even though a finger is put off from the AF lock button 8. Then, a focusing mark LED flicks at 1 Hz and a lock state is shown. AF locking is released by operating in the timing of one push. Also, even in the case of a state in an MF mode, operation is shifted to an AF mode by depressing the AF lock button 8, so that the AF locking is performed. Also, the state thereof is displayed within a finder in the case of the AF locking and in the case of being infeasible of range-finding. A distance is also displayed in the AF locking. |
