摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide amorphous copper base alloys having, in addition to high amorphous formability, superior mechanical properties and excellent workability. SOLUTION: The alloys are amorphous copper base alloys containing at least 90 volume % of the amorphous phase of composition represented by the formula: Cu100-a-b (Zr+Hf)a Tib or Cu100-a-b-c-d (Zr+Hf)a Tib Mc Td (wherein, M is one or more or elements selected from a group consisting of Fe, Cr, Mn, Ni, Co, Nb, Mo, W, Sn, Al, Ta and rare earch elements; T is one or more of elements selected from another group consisting of Ag, Pd, Pt and Au; and a, b, c and d satisfy 5<a<=55, 0<=b<=45, 30<a+b<=60, 0.5<=c<=5, 0<=d<=10, respectively in terms of atomic %). The alloys are made available by a die casting process in the form of bar (sheet) of 1 mm or greater in diameter (thickness) with at least 90 volume % of amorphous phase.
