PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device for a lower frame capable of easily cleaning the refuse, dust, sand or the like accumulated on the recess of a barrier-free type lower frame formed flat on the upper face of the sash lower frame without removing a shoji sliding screen. SOLUTION: In an outdoor opening section sash structure formed with upper and lower frames and right and left vertical frames, the upper face of the lower frame is formed into a nearly flat face. A sliding piece is suspended from the bottom rail side wall of the shoji sliding screen slidably opened or closed on the flat face via sash rollers, the lower frame recess having a sliding groove guiding the sliding piece is provided on the lower frame, and a horizontal tight material is provided between a lower frame recess side wall and the sliding piece. An upper face flat member provided on the upper face of the lower frame is divided into a panel strip material first member fitted or removed by moving the screen to the right side, a panel strip material second member fitted or removed by moving the screen to the left, and a panel strip material central member located between the panel strip material first member and the panel strip material second member. The panel strip material first member and the panel strip material second member are removably fitted without removing the screen.
