PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard which contributes to good-looking and efficient arrangement of cables, and imparts a high degree of freedom to the arrangement when the cables are rearranged or new cables are added due to extension or alteration of a building, and to provide a wiring structure using the baseboard. SOLUTION: The baseboard is formed of a long base portion 21 fixed to a wall surface 3S, and a cover 22 attached to the base portion 21 to form a wiring space H in which the cable 2 is arranged, between the base portion 21 and the cover 22 per se. The base portion 21 includes a partition lug 25 which partitions the wiring space H into upper and lower wiring spaces HA, HB, and a blade piece 24 which is erected from the tip of the partition lug 25 to prevent the cable 2 from being squeezed out of the wiring space.
