PURPOSE: A dishwasher is provided to expand a washing box by reducing a dead space in a case in a drawer type dishwasher. CONSTITUTION: A dishwasher is composed of an air feeding duct(20) and a fan(23) for feeding air to a washing box(2) arranged in a gap between the front wall(2a) of the box and a front surface panel(4) to be fitted attachably and detachably on the front surface of the front wall. When the fan is rotated and driven by a motor(24) in the case of drying operation, air is sucked from an air suction port(21) facing the inside of the case(1) to open a damper(25), and the air is discharged from an air feeding port to the box through the air feeding duct. Though the dishwasher requires to secure a space for opening and closing an upper cover(10) on a front side compared with the front wall of the box, by arranging a blowing mechanism in the generated space, the blowing mechanism is provided at the rear part to expand the washing box.
