PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized endoscopic apparatus with which the enlarged image set according to the distance to a subject is obtainable. SOLUTION: An imaging element 4c which converts the subject image formed by an objective lens system 4 into an electric signal, range finding means 12 which finds the distance to the subject, a drive control means 7 which presets the plural focal positions varying in magnification within a variable focal length range of the objective lens system 4 and focuses the objective lens system 4 by selecting the focal position according to the subject distance formed by the range finding means 12 and a light sending cable 8 which sends the light to be cast to the subject to the distal end side of the endoscope are built in the endoscope 1. A light control section 9 which controls the light to be cast on the subject and a signal processing section 10 which forms a video signal by subjecting the imaging signal of the imaging element 4c to signal processing are built in the video processor 2. |
