PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a transmission light display device which has a display sheet easily aligned relatively with a window in a window frame to reduce the manufacturing cost and can effectively cope with the layout change or the like as the result. SOLUTION: The transmission light display device is provided with a retaining plate which is arranged on the rear side of a window plate on the rear side of a rectangular window frame, the display sheet inserted to the space between the retaining plate and the window plate, fixing metal fittings which are provided in opposite sides of the window frame and fix both end parts of the retaining plate onto the window plate, a light source which irradiates a drawing on the display sheet from the rear of the retaining plate to project it to the window in the window frame, a holding cylinder which stores the light source and is so attached that it can be freely transferred onto the retaining plate, and a back plate to which a support member of the holding cylinder is attached. In this transmission light display device, end parts of the window plate and the retaining plate are pressed and fixed to the rear side of the window frame by one fixing metal fittings, and the edge part of the display sheet inserted from the opposite side is exposed to a notched part provided in the retaining plate, and the display sheet is slid by the exposed part to perform fine adjustment.
