PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a sleeve at an unlocked position by a simple structure in a jig saw which is equipped with a cramp device for changing a blade in an unlocked state or in a locked state by rotation of a sleeve. SOLUTION: The jig saw is equipped with a housing, a driving shaft, a cramp device 26, an operating component and a blade. The driving shaft is reciprocated to the housing. The cramp device 26 is attached to a tip of the driving shaft, which comprises a chuck 32 and a sleeve 33 being rotated around the chuck 32. The blade is freely detachably fixed to the chuck 32. The operating component is changed in an unlocked state wherein the blade is attached to or detached from the chuck 32, or in a locked state wherein the blade is fixed by rotating the sleeve 33. Then a position in the unlocked state of the sleeve 33 is determined because pivot of the sleeve 33 is controlled with the chuck 32. In the jig saw constituted as described above, the sleeve 33 can be positioned at an unlocked position only by raising a precision of the part wherein rotation of the sleeve 33 is controlled by the chuck 32.
