PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently decompose and gasify a sewage sludge A by a simply constructed device and facility to recover the holding energy of the sewage sludge A as a power in high efficiency. SOLUTION: The power system for thermal decomposition and gasification of the sewage sludge A is provided with a dryer 1 for heating the sludge A to dry, a fluidized bed type thermal decomposition furnace 2 for thermally decomposing the sewage sludge B dried by the dryer 1 on the fluidized bed D to generate a thermal decomposition gas E, and a gas turbine generator 7 for generating power by the cleaned thermal decomposition gas E.
