<p>Activated sludge effluent treatment plant with a rotationally symmetrical vessel containing an aeration chamber, settling chamber, sludge-collecting chamber and a final clarifying chamber and with an effluent feed provided if necessary with a sand trap, a discharge launder adjustable with relation to the level, a sludge suction discharge unit, and liquid circulating and aeration rotor adjustable vertically in accordance with the water level, the special feature of this plant being that it is provided with a centrally installed, rake, driven through a control gear with a disintegrating machine as well as a rake operating above the bottom of the vessel.</p> |
