A golf putter comprises a body 10 and face 11 formed from a material having a ultra lightweight to high strength ratio, such as carbon fibre reinforced resin. A weight 12 located in the body perimeter is formed from a high density material such as lead. The positioning of the weight increases the moment of inertia of the club in the horizontal plane and lowers the centre of gravity. |
