PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a liquid crystal display in which a small-sized drive circuit and a display section are formed on the same substrate. SOLUTION: The width of the drive circuit which supplies gradation voltages to pixels is made to have the same width as that of the pixels. The circuit has a voltage-selecting circuit, which outputs gradation voltages based on the display data transmitted by a plurality of display data lines, and calculation elements, which constitute the voltage selecting circuit are provided for every display data line and the elements, are constituted of conductive type transistors.
