PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel in which the slack of a flexible base plate is sufficiently and properly absorbed when a lens holding unit provided with a motor-driven unit is brought close to an electric part even though the length of the flexible base plate is made larger and also of which diameter is prevented from being made larger. SOLUTION: In the lens barrel which is provided with the lens holding unit having first and second lens holding members 18 and 24 to respectively hold lenses and coupled with each other and an adjustment connection plate 23 by which relative positional adjustment at the time of coupling the first and second lens holding members is performed and in which the lens holding unit is made movable in the optical axis direction in the inside of a lens barrel main body, an electrically actuated motor-driven unit 20 is fixed to the lens holding unit, and a base plate pressing part 23a is provided at the adjusting connection plate to restrict the movement of the flexible base plate deformed in accordance with the movement of the lens holding unit in the optical axis direction to the side of an optical path in the case that the electric part 27 fixed to the lens barrel main body and the motor-driven unit are connected by the flexible base plate 26.
