PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by heightening the general-purpose properties of a detecting part. SOLUTION: A holder of the rotation detecting part (a) for a body to be detected is divided into two in its longitudinal direction, and a relay terminal is also divided into two. The holder 10 on the side of the detecting part is inserted in a casing 1, and the holder 20 on the side of output is fitted in the casing 1. By dividing the holder in this way and deforming the holder 20 on the output side according to alterations in the length of a sensor (the length of the casing 1), the diameter of the casing, etc., it is possible to adapt to the alterations. Therefore, it is possible to share the expensive detecting part (a) to increase its general-purpose properties. Relay terminals 5 and 15 are connected by a bifurcated part 5a and a pin part 15a of the other relay terminal 15 to be fitted to the bifurcated part 5a, and a curved part 15a is formed in one relay terminal 15. It is possible to absorb thermal and mechanical stress due to changes in ambient temperature, fitting at assembly, external forces, etc., by extension and contraction by the curved part 15b. Therefore, stress on a soldering connected part 18, etc., is reduced.
