PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet separator for integrally separating a plurality of separating pawls from one another. SOLUTION: Arms 7a, 7b are protruded on both sides in the cross direction of the plurality of separating pawls 3 turnably provided in parallel and the arms 7a, 7b of the adjacent separating pawls 3 are overlapped with each other. When the separating pawls 3 on the operation side are separated from each other, the overlapped portions allow the separating pawls 3 adjacent thereto to be separated from one another in sequence. The plurality of separating pawls 3 are integrally separated from one another in association.
