PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of the disturbance light. SOLUTION: This display device for a vehicle is provided with a display part 20 projecting and outputting a display image, a translucent reflection board 30 reflecting the light from an angle of incidence within a specific range, and transmitting the light from an angle of incidence within the other specific range, and a base part 40 holding the translucent reflection board 30 and the display part 20 on positions to allow the advancing direction of the reflection light of the output light from the display part 20 to be approximately agreed with the transmitting direction of the light. The translucent reflection board 30 is provided with a number of thin film parts 32 made of a light absorbing material and arranged along the light transmitting direction in the shape of a louver, and the sectional shape of each thin film part 32 on a face in parallel with the direction of the arrangement of a number of thin film parts 32 and the light transmitting direction is the waveform repeated along the light transmitting direction.
