PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high-quality booklet by preventing the collapse or irregularity of size in the bundle of paper to be set on a paper setting table upon conveying the paper, treated by glue spreading treatment to a paper housing unit to match and pressurize the same while improving the productivity of conveyance, register and pressurizing of the paper. SOLUTION: A gluing bookbinding device is constituted of a width register means 55 for registering the widthwise direction of paper S sent into the paper receiving unit 52, a registering reference member 550 for positioning the widthwise direction of one side of the paper S, a first registering and correcting member 551, arranged at the upstream side of the conveying direction of the paper so as to be independently movable respectively into the widthwise direction of the paper and opposed to the resister reference member 550, and a second registering and correcting member 552, arranged at the downstream side of the paper conveying direction, while the gluing bookbinding device is provided with a control means for controlling the movement of the first registering and correcting member 551 and the second registering and correcting member 552 independently.
