PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disturbance of fore end and rear end of paper to be conveyed onto a paper setting table upon conveying the paper treated by glue spreading treatment to a paper receiving unit to register and pressurize the same in order to carry out the high-speed manufacturing of a booklet and improve the productivity of paper conveyance, registering and pressurizing. SOLUTION: A gumming bookbinding device is provided with an air suction means 58, arranged near the stopping position of the fore end of paper S, set at a predetermined position on the paper setting table 520 of the paper receiving unit 52 and treated by glue spreading treatment already, while air of the lower surface side of the paper S, discharged on the paper setting table 520, is sucked by the air sucking means 58 whereby the paper S is dropped quickly onto the paper setting table 520.
