PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard which contributes to good-looking and efficient arrangement of cables, and imparts a high degree of freedom to the arrangement when the cables are rearranged or new cables are added due to extension or alteration of a building, and to provide a wiring structure using the baseboard. SOLUTION: The baseboard is formed of a long base portion 21 fixed to a wall surface 3S, a cover 22 attached to the base portion 21 to form a wiring space H in which the cable 2 is arranged, between the base portion 21 and the cover 22 per se, and a cap member 20 which covers an end E of the cover 22 to decorate the same.
