PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate material with a reinforcing material, which is used as a furring strip material, a stud material, etc., can easily bring about strength, and has excellent workability. SOLUTION: The substrate material 1 with the reinforcing material structurally has a long cylindrical substrate material 3, which is formed in such a manner as to have a quadrangular cross section, and the reinforcing material 2. The reinforcing material 2 is composed of a back part 11, which is brought into contact with one inner surface part of the substrate material 3 and formed so as to be narrower than the inner surface part of thereof, and paired side surface parts 12 and 13 which are respectively bent for formation from both side parts of the back part 11, whose respective ends are extended to both corner parts of the other inner surface part facing one inner surface part of the substrate material 3 and which are expanded toward the ends.
