NON-INVASIVE RADIO-IMAGING ANALYSIS DEVICE, IN PARTICULAR FOR EXAMINING SMALL ANIMALS IN VIVO, AND METHOD FOR USING SAME
摘要

The imager consists of a number of detectors (100) and a platform (200) to support a body (C) to be analysed and to move it relative to the detectors. The detectors should preferably cover a solid angle greater than 2 pi. Each individual detector (110) consists of a collimator (120), a scintillator (130), an optical guide (135) and a photomultiplier (140). The collimator which enables radiation coming from a small region near the focal point to be detected is formed from tungsten plates which have been perforated by chemical attack. Processing is by "ET" type combinational logic (300).
