PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music listening method, capable of improving concern to advertisement, a system, an information terminal and a music retrieval server. SOLUTION: When a user sings a piece of music that he desires to retrieve for inputting the piece of music, a mobile telephone 1 converts the piece of music sung into voice data and transmits the voice data to the music retrieval server; the server 2 performs voice recognition processing and musical interval recognition processing of the transmitted voice data, extracts a plurality of candidate pieces of music, on the basis of the recognition results and transmits a list of the candidate pieces of music to the mobile telephone; when the user receives the notice of the selected piece of music from the mobile telephone 1, the server 2 respectively acquires listening data for listening to the piece of music, information accompanying the piece of music (title, etc.), and advertisement information from a music data providing server 3 to transmit them to the mobile telephone; and the mobile telephone 1 allows the user to listen to a portion of the piece of music on the basis of the listening data and also notifies the user of advertisement information contents. |
