PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent recording material wherein a projected image is not grayed and which can be recycled. SOLUTION: The transparent recording material is constituted at least of a base layer and a surface layer of moisture swell properties prepared by crosslinking a water-soluble resin, and the water-soluble resin contains a water- soluble resin of a softening point 60-150 deg.C. The surface layer contains a non- water-soluble organic substance of a melting point 60-150 deg.C.
