PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user friendly image forming device allowing an easy jam treatment. SOLUTION: After jam treatment, the remaining sheets on a re-feed part sheet transporting passage L4 other than jamming sheet having caused jam occurrence directly are exhausted automatically, which eliminates necessity for the user to handle the remaining sheets on the re-feed part transporting passage L4 difficult for him to have any understanding, and in the case the jamming sheet remains on the passage L4 after jam treatment, it is not exhausted by all means but allowed to stay there, preventing occurrence of such a hazardous condition as generated by a try to move the jamming sheet by an unreasonable force in an unreasonable fashion. |
