STRUCTURE FOR SUPPORTING HEAT STORAGE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent projection of heat storage bodies from an air/exhaust channel while facilitating replacement thereof by arranging ceramic balls or columnar or tubular materials larger than the heat storage body in the air/ exhaust channel. SOLUTION: A heat storage body supporting part 12 is formed on the end part side of a tubular body 11 and a large number of heat storage bodies 21 are filled in the central part thereof thus providing a heat storage chamber 13 for preheating combustion air. An air supply and exhaust part 14 for introducing combustion air into the heat storage chamber 13 or discharging exhaust gas therefrom is provided on the other end part side of the tubular body 11. An air ejection passage 19 is formed at the heat storage body supporting part 12. In the air ejection passage 19, width W1 on the heat storage chamber 13 > width W2 on the ejection side is satisfied and a section 22 for containing ceramic balls 20 while burying so that the heat storage bodies 21 do not flow out is provided at the part of width W1 on the heat storage chamber 13.
