PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, a recoding medium, and a program which prevent transfer paper from being affected by an air current generated by the rotation of a cooling fan and sufficiently suppress the temperature rise in the device by rotation of the cooling fan. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with a fixing device 110 which fixes a toner visible image transferred to the transfer paper, a main body paper feeding device 101 which feeds and carries the transfer paper to the fixing device 110, a cooling fan 114 which discharges heat generated by the fixing device 110, a resist sensor 103 which detects the carrying position of the transfer paper, a paper ejection sensor 112, etc. Driving of the cooling fan is controlled in accordance with the carrying position of the transfer paper, and, in particular, the cooling fan is stopped in a period from transfer to fixing. |
