<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing method of millimeter wave sensor capable of reducing the occurrence of the rate of a false pairing due to the influences of rain, mist, changes in air temperature, unwanted reflections (background), and interference. SOLUTION: In the signal processing of millimeter wave sensor, long-term background data and short-term background data are obtained. The frequency and the amplification factor of electric power are calculated from the long-term and short-term background data, and a correction is made by amplifying newly input data by use of the amplification factor. Using the long-range background data, multilevel thresholds are created. Using the multilevel thresholds, a threshold process is carried out and detection of peaks is also carried out. Using the peaks detected, labeling matching their frequencies is carried out. The attributes of the label obtained by this labeling, such as central frequency, direction of center, or average frequency and averaging direction, are determined, and using the center direction of the label, the pairing is carried out by searching a corresponding label along the direction.</p> |
