<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that efficiently clears away residual toner on an image carrier after a transfer process even when spherical toner is used. SOLUTION: The image forming device has the steps of forming a toner image on the image carrier, transferring the toner image formed on the image carrier onto a transfer body, and removing residual toner on the image carrier with a cleaning blade. The toner image is formed by using the toner which is made spherical during or after its production. Sticking force that acts between the cleaning blade and the spherical toner is greater than sticking force that acts between the image carrier and the spherical toner.</p> |
