PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and simple optical signal transmitting device with high transmission efficiency capable of mutual communications between a plurality of circuit boards and modules ant to provide a translucent medium to be used for the transmitting device, and an optical data bus system using the plurality of optical signal transmitting devices. SOLUTION: The optical signal transmitting device 100 is provided with a baseboard 2 and the translucent medium 1 which is arranged on the substrate and has an incoming/emitting part 12 of the incoming and/or emission of an optical signal. The translucent medium 1 is provided with a positioning part 3 for performing positioning with respect to the substrate 2 and the substrate 2 is provided with a reference part 21 to be engaged with the positioning part 3.
