PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent dirt, dust and the like from being deposited on connecting end faces or being held between them in butt-splicing with regard to an optical connector ferrule such as an MT(Mechanically Transferable) type optical connector ferrule. SOLUTION: In the optical connector ferrule 1, opening parts 6 on a connecting end face 2 for holes 3 being guide pin holes are designed to form a gap around the projections of guide pins 9, for example, when the projections protruding from the opposite optical connector ferrule 7 to be connected are inserted into the holes 3 so that the opening parts are thereby formed into a shape capable of taking in dust and dirt.
