PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine and a cooling air duct in which an engine room for storing an engine through a partition member in the engine room disposed at a space from a cooling device carried on the construction machine is provided, the cooling device is cleaned, a temperature rise of the engine room is decreased, leakage of noise can be reduced, and for compactness, the function of the construction machine is organically and relatively improved. SOLUTION: An opening 50 for circulating cooling air is provided in an engine front cover C1 of the engine room 12 disposed at a space from the cooling device R for storing the engine 22, and the partition member 60 is provided to form a cooling duct CD between the engine cover C1 guiding the cooling air from the opening 50 by a cooling fan 20 of the cooling device R to be turned toward the outer periphery there of and constituting the engine room 12 and the outer periphery thereof, whereby the engine room 12 and the engine 22 are cooled by the cooling air from the engine front cover C1.
