PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cut-off method for an underground installation element and a cut-off seal for it capable of simplifying structure of a connection part between a cut-off material and an installation element for easily manufacturing the connection part at a low cost, reducing its size and weight, improving its water cut-off effect, eliminating requirement for complicated cut-off material winding work and a working space in a construction field, and performing this kind of work reasonably and easily, capable of performing water cut-off for an installation element having a complex shape, and capable of preventing deterioration in a water cut-off effect in the corner part of the connection part by means of an easier structure. SOLUTION: The elastically deformable cut-off seals 6 and 7 are arranged between the connection parts of the adjacent underground installation elements 2 and 3. In formation, the shape of the cut-off seals 6 and 7 is substantially equalized to that of the connection end parts on the approximately mutually flushed faces of the underground installation elements 2 and 3.
