摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a vinyl ether polymer having a (meth)acryloyl group as a side chain economically and efficiently. SOLUTION: A vinyl ether polymer is produced by reacting a vinyl ether polymer having a structural unit represented by the formula (1) [R<1> is a hydrogen atom or an organic residue; R<2> is an organic residue; X is a -OH group or a halogen atom] and a (meth)acrylic acid derivative represented by the formula (2): CH2 =CR<3> -COZ [R<3> is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; Z is a -OH group, a halogen atom, -OR<4> group (R<4> is an organic residue), -OM group (M is an alkali (alkaline-earth) metal) or a CH2 =CR<3> COO- group].
