<p>Cylindrical telescopic spring is made as follows: Spring strip is coiled together to form a cylinder. The strip is then recoiled so that the previous outermost layer becomes the innermost layer, a plastic lining being applied to the inwards facing strip surface during this operation. Pref. the plastic is applied in strip form and is bonded to the strip by an adhesive or heat. The springs thus produced have improved strength, elasticity rigidity, excellent shock resistance. The plastic serves as an anti-friction layer.</p> |
