<p>The servo cylinder is linked to the injection cylinder to give a simultaneous movement to the lever moving the sealing needle in and out of the nozzle aperture. The purpose is to ensure that the nozzle is opened at the right time when the plastic material is under sufficient pressure for it to be propelled into the mould, and closed when injection is complete to prevent any surplus emerging which could spoil the quality of a fine precision component.</p> |
