<p>The control valve operation is varied by an adjustment screw to determine the degree of hydraulic pressure to be admitted, in order to determine the operating range in the gap between mould surfaces for a cam to exert a damping effect on the final closing and initial opening phase. The purpose is to control the opening and closing movement speeds, and to allow a shorter damped travelling distance. Applicable to moulding of plastics, elastomers or metals.</p> |
