POLYPROPYLENE HOLLOW FIBER FOR DEGASSING AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided are polypropylene hollow fiber for degassing and a manufacturing method thereof which are characterized by increasing heat resistance and degassing efficiency because a little nucleating agent is added to polypropylene polymer and reducing maintenance cost of a degassing device. CONSTITUTION: The polypropylene hollow fiber for degassing is obtained by a process containing the steps of: mixing polypropylene and a little beta-form nucleating agent to manufacture polymer material; putting the polymer material into a spinning machine(1) with four steps of temperature between 170-230deg.C; melting in the spinning machine(1), followed by spinning to form hollow; crystallizing the hollow fiber at 100-130deg.C for 20minutes; cooling the hollow fiber with 15-20deg.C of cool air; annealing at 110-150deg.C; drawing and heating repeatedly; and then winding.
