摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material composed of an expanded graphite that is expanded or at least partially recompressed, wherein a pore system is completely or partially filled with a noncured synthetic resin or a partially or completely cured synthetic resin so as to enable turn on and turn off of a liquid. SOLUTION: This material is composed of the expanded graphite that has an opened pore system, particularly preferably a bulk density of 0.5-1.3 g/cm<3> , and an ash content of 4% or below, and is obtained by impregnating with an acrylic resin capable of solventlessly polymerizing in a low viscosity and a good storage-stability. An additive may be added to this impregnated material. This impregnated, molded and quickly curable graphite is used as a sealing element, a member for a fuel cell or a heat-conductive element.
