PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which prevents the occurrence of a cleaning defect on the image carrier, reduces hazards received at the time of cleaning of recovered toner to be used again to prevent occurrence of an abnormal image at the time of forming a toner image by the toner used again, improves the maintainability, is superior in durability, has a simple structure, is made small-sized and forms images of high quality. SOLUTION: The image forming device is comprised of a developing means 2 which forms the toner image on an image carrier 1, a first cleaning means 4 which is brought into contact with the image carrier 1 after transfer by a transfer means 3 to turnably hold and remove remaining toner stuck there, a second cleaning means 5 which is arranged to the upstream of the first cleaning means 4 and faces the surface of the image carrier 1 with a space between them to remove the remaining toner stuck there, a third cleaning means 6 which removes remaining toner stuck to the first cleaning means 4, and a toner recycling means 7 which returns recovered toner to the developing means 2. |
