PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-melt ink jet ink composition giving a high resolution, free from color bleeding, cockling and other problems, exhibiting excellent transferability to a wide range of printing papers and improved in image durability on a material to be transferred after transfer printing and in adhesion, and an ink jet recording method. SOLUTION: The hot-melt ink jet ink composition which is solid at ordinary temperature comprises at least a hot-melt vehicle, a photopolymerizable compound, a photopolymerization initiator and a coloring agent, where a part or all of the photopolymerizable compounds are solid at ordinary temperature. There is also provided an ink jet recording method. |
