<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate jam treatment. SOLUTION: A copying machine 101 comprises a photosensitive drum 1 for forming an image on a sheet, a resist roller pair 11 for receiving the carried sheet in a rotation stopped condition, correcting the skew of the sheet to be straight and then carrying the sheet to the photosensitive drum 1, a driving part for rotationally driving the resist roller pair and a controller for controlling the driving part. The controller controls the driving part to make the sheet carrying speed of the resist roller pair faster until it arrives at a predetermined position A between the photosensitive drum 1 and the resist roller pair and to make it slower corresponding to the imaging speed of the photosensitive drum after the sheet arrives at the predetermined position.</p> |
